Thesis project

Sökes: frågan vars svar är grafisk design

This book is my final project at Beckmans College of Design. It is based on four interviews about the meaning of advertising and graphic design, made with advertising people and graphic designers. The book was on display at Beckmans Spring Exhibition along with photographs documenting the visual communication that surrounds us daily.

The book is no for sale at Konst-ig, Stockholm. You can also read it online as a PDF (in swedish).

Gallerian Fashion Award 07

Gallerian Fashion Award is a collaboration between the
Gallerian, a shopping mall in Stockholm, and Beckmans
College of Design. Fourteen student groups from the
Fashion Design and Advertising & Graphic Design
classes competed in the creation of a new fashion concept
for an existing brand. The fourteen concepts were
presented through a fashion show and in an exhibition
in Gallerian.

I created the concept Att.ached for Åhléns. I was also in
the following working groups of Gallerian Fashion Award:
the group in charge of the general concept; the group
responsible for the graphic identity, poster and flyer; and
in the magazine's editorial staff.

Att.ached

Submission to Gallerian Fashion Awards 07. An interpretation of the young brand Att. by Åhléns. Att.ached is a 'sister brand' of basic clothing accentuated by accessories and twisted cuts. The Att.ached-logotype builds upon the existing Att.-logotype. The work includes concept, branding, fashion design, art direction, graphic identity, photo shoot...

Art direction by Olof Bruce and Liv Wadström,
fashion design by Adam Gauffin.

Poster, Flyer & Magazine for
Gallerian Fashion Awards

We used foot notes to explain this project to the public. The asterisk is used as a symbol, an illustration, and a tool. The magazine includes the catalogue with the fourteen submissions, an editorial part about fashion, and an appendix that explains the project's 122 asterisks.

The poster is meant to reveal something about the font and how it is supposed to be used.

Accelerator

Accelerator

A double-sided poster and graphic concept for the
festival Accelerator. The back of the poster contains
quizzes and puzzles, and information about the
festival. The poster therefore functions as both "poster"
and programme. The dimensions are 50x70 cm and
it folds down to the size of a 7" single.

There is also a small size poster for the Accelerator
Club, which will fold down to the size of a CD-cover.

Made together with Tom Eriksson and Anders Lövgren.
